Olive bags Dalmia Bharat's digital account; launches its corporate site
Dalmia Bharat has recently launched its new corporate website dalmiabharat.com designed and developed by Olive e-Business Pvt Ltd. The corporate website is the first offering from Olive since its association with Dalmia. A range of microsites and social media activities are to follow.
"Our new website is a resonance of Dalmia Bharat. Rooted in our 76 year legacy, it articulates our today and reveals our tomorrows. It has the Dalmia Bharat signatures of innovation, verve, speed and excellence. We are delighted to partner with Olive and look forward to a long journey with them in cyberspace," said Amit Chaudhery, Associate Executive Director & Head-Group Corporate Communications, Dalmia Bharat Enterprises.
The group that was earlier known as Dalmia Cement got the new nomenclature after its de-merger in mid 2010. Ever since then, they have been looking to repaint their digital picture with an agency that could redefine their online strategy giving the company a modernist appeal.
"The challenge was to come-up with a strategy that could illustrate Dalmia in new light all together. They were perceived as a traditional company doing traditional business for long. We offered them a solution unifying their traditional milieu with modern aspirations," said Siddhant Johri, Head – Strategy and Creative, Olive.
Olive won the account after participating in a pitch process held in the month of June 2011. Dalmia has never had a digital agency before and that set the expectations riding high.
"We followed a very unique end-to-end approach for the client and have tried to keep the look and feel very exclusive. Soon we'll be rolling out couple of new microsites too in the same format" said Ravindra Chand, Assistant Manager – Business Development, Olive e-Business Pvt Ltd.
With this, Olive continues its winning streak after Max Healthcare and Dulux. According to a company insider, Olive has acquired the account of a major international real estate brand. However, the management is tightlipped about the name until the deal closure.
